ARTIST’S STATEMENT
” THE GODDESS SERIES” was inspired by the aura of women. I started to observe females differently. All the females I chose to paint have a soft quality, a kind of elegance that is part of the sex. It is not sexual, it is femininity. Color is important as well as line used in a gestural way to create animation and each image has a kind of hesitancy as if caught in suspended activity.
